So oil cap says use 5/20 oil. I pull a 35 foot TT. I go to Florida from Iowa every winter. In summer time mostly don't pull a camper. 2 or 3 times I go 200 miles pulling a camper in summer. So should I be using 5/30 or 10/30 oil or just use 5/20? 2013 Ram 5.7 2500 crew cab.

How much does your trailer weigh? Do you pull through mountainous terrain? Do you pull your camper to Florida?

I lived in Iowa City for 3 years. Ran 5w30 redline year round pulled trailer drove in -40, idled in a blizzard for 9 hours.

No worries, I think you are better off with 5w30.

Normally 30 degrees, last Feb. it was 4 degrees...
8,000 pounds, mountains, yes, not yet but probably...
Hit 90's most of the time...
