OK I'm not nearly as good as johnnysart and I sure as snot don't have such a big boy camera.

But I sure enjoy sneaking off for a day and trying to stuff what my mind sees into a file for someone else to enjoy.

Figured what the heck .. you guys know the truck .. might as well share some of these too.

when are we gonna see your mug?

I try not to screw up enough for the cops to need to shoot one of them :)

Nice Sporty! 1200?

Nope 883. I love it. I can get down and dirty in the twisties or just tootle around town to and from work w/ no problems. I can stretch him out on the highways with the best of em. Really need a set of pegs for it to really do long distance though.

A bit. I've got about a dozen settings or so. I have only had it about 6 months and really have only seriously dug into it about 4 times. I sure do love playing with it though. I love the way I can completly re-work the light and make motion stand still now!

Well thats good. if you adjust the iso to 100 thats more for bright light. if theres less lighting I go with 400.
Also you can freeze frame a nice pice with good lighting and high speed. try messing with the speeds I have done this when the light is really bright ---you can probably try using from 500 to 1000 for bright days like say at the track.

or if your trying to freeze fram a pic of a stream.

What type of camera do you have?

Shooting water and mess'n w/ the ISO is such fun ... what I really needed that day was a tri-pod. Standing on a running bridge while trying to free-hand it is kind of dumb. smiley_emoticons_blush-reloaded4.gif
