The only reason I’d have to pass is because the price, the 44 is only $88 and the 40 is $76 so that’s why I’m sticking to those....

The gibson mwas are made with stainless steel, the flowmaster and summits are aluminized steel. I haven't ran flows in years, and always ended up changing them due to drone. Last 2 chamber i had was on my o5 dakota with a 4.7, sounded good at idle, but going down the road it was like having your head in a drum and somebody repeatedly banging it. I had single chambers on an 03 mustang gt and 00 silverado, drone was there, but considerably less than the 2 chambers.

The Rustmaster will end up costing you more in the long run, because you'll have to replace it after it rusts out.
I had a set of flowmasters on a mustang and a set on a tbird supercoupe. Both rusted out within 2 years. Junk.. my opinion of course.

Very happy with the Super 44 on my 2011. Sounds great paired with 5" tips. Ignore the ticking sound in this video. It's a header leak on the driver's side that's getting fixed Tuesday.

It screams when I get on it. The 44 is a little deeper and less rasp vs. the 40.

That sounds amazing, I feel your pain with the ticking lol, I'm getting mine fixed next Wednesday.

I got mine fixed yesterday (only needed a new gasket on driver's side) and man I tell you...the leak was making the truck run like crap. I don't know if it was throwing off the fuel mix, timing or both but it is night and day.

Not only is the noise gone but it's running like a dream. I'll have to make a new vid.

And thank you, I love the tone from this setup. It gets a lot of compliments.

I never really liked the sound of the Flowmaster mufflers that I have heard. Too tinny sounding for me.
