I just had to post this.

So this is my first off road truck. I am not an expert, ****. I'm not even a novice. I have never been off roading before. (As a driver).

My first time out in the beast was the same except that I had gotten a winch kit. And so damn glad I did. Bogged up twice in the mud and pulled myself out. Got a little pin striping as well.

Hahaha I am really trying to contain myself from doing anything dumb. I found some sweet trails in sam houston national forest today.

Trail had a massive ditch in the middle to where you really needed to ride the side of it, well half way through the truck slipped into the ditch. I about shat myself. Luckily I had the sway bar disconnected. And it wasn't enough to overcome the articulation. But man. I thought the truck was about to roll onto its side resting against this ditch. Scared the **** outa me.

Put it in 4lo, and locked the diffs for the heck of it. She clawed her way back up the ridge, and I managed to crawl out.

No pics of that. I couldnt open the drivers door because that side was so high. And I couldn't open the passenger side because it was pretty much against a wall lol

I have been out to general sams, mostly side by side trails but “power wagon don’t care” I have been wanting to check out creek side off road ranch.
I also need to get up to Sam Houston
