On my incoming text messages

How come when I get a incoming text message the time is like 5 hrs ahead and my clock and phone time is all correct just when it comes up on the screen the time is wrong,any help would be great thank you

The only thing I can think of is your time zone vs GMT. EST is 5 hours behind GMT, so maybe your phone carrier or something along those lines is synced to GMT. Which phone do you have and what time zone are you in?

mines the same thing.
I know we aren't the only ones with this but haven't found a fix yet
