Chime in…I can pick this grille and the oem chrome bumper w/ fog light ready up local. My Ram was born a SLT, no fog lights. Another project muhahaha…
Im torn on the grille though. My door handles are chrome, so are both bumpers. My wheels are black rimmed with silver spokes that have a chrome accent. All my badging has black vinyl inlays. If I upgrade wheels I may go full chrome.
Full chrome grille or current chrome black. The pic of the blue Ram is the grille I am considering. My current grille has a broken clip and is slightly cracked where the crosshair meets the perimeter next to Driver’s side headlight. Aftermath of punting Bambi into an oncoming Wrangler at 60mph.(Wrangler mangled…Bambi is in deer Valhalla).

Looks like the chrome grill with chrome inserts is a factory grill. You should be able to swap the black inserts from your original grill into the other grill if you're not a fan of the chrome inserts

I would stick with the Chrome and black honeycomb ... you can also spray your bumpers and grille with raptor bedliner like I did ... easy to do and you wouldn't have to worry about rock chips ...

I scuffed up the bumpers and grille with a nylon brush using my dewalt polisher, then sprayed them with etching primer then the raptor bed liner ... I love the look

I noticed you have a Hellwig rear sway bar. Can you tell it made much difference over the stock? So far, them and stock are the only two I can find, and I have a stock bar now. Hellwig really likes their bar since most places are $399.00 and up for it.

@Yardbird This does firm it up in the rear. With Bilsteins at 2.1 on front and Bilstein shocks, I think B8’s on rear there is no roll. The Hellwig is much beefier.
I actually found my Hellwig 40mi from my house on Craigslist. Still in the box, never installed for $125. I drove up that day. Its even the model with the extensions for lift kits. Im only 1” in rear so I didnt install those.

Nope these guys weren't around when i bought my Hellwig. I bought my Hellwig way back in 13,and it's been on 2 trucks since then, but if it ever gives me static,i'd replace it with one of these bars now.

Aren't the swaybars from the 2500 and 3500s beefier too? someone on the forums if I am not mistaken said they fit the 1500s too ?
You can put the 2500's bar on a 1500,but it takes a bit of finaggling to get it installed

Is it worth the finnaggling ? lol .... or are they not really an upgrade from the 1500 stock ones ... I always find the 2500's swaybars on offerup for like $50 most of the time ....

It's alot beefier then the 1500's bar is. I have a buddy who put the 2500 bar on his 2015 R/T and he said he had to mess around with it a bit to get it bolted up. It was a couple years ago,and i forget exactly what it was though.

if you go with chrome you gotta love chrome. personally, I love chrome so I love having chromed out grilles, but it isn't for everyone. U have to make sure you like chrome enough to have that much of it on your truck

One thing about these chrome grilles is that if they get water spotted or stained due to some cleaning chemical, that stain stays and you can't get it off ... so like you said, you have to really like chrome and spend time to keep it clean and maintain it otherwise it will start looking like **** in no time ...
