I have had a set of 2 inch HBS leveling spacers for a while now. Havent had the time to install. Been reading that these things can pop out the upper ball joints. (bad thing). Question is should I:
A. Spend the $430 to replace the stock UCAs with the zone UCAs? Or the movec or whatever upper control arms.
B. Sell the HBS kit and get the bilstein 5100s or whatever other struts such as fox or rancho struts to achieve the 2 inch lift i want for the front?

Send a link to the Movec or whatever control arms not sure of part numbers I would need.

Also, I am not looking into lifting or anything most likely any time soon if at all. I will be running stock wheels for now (may get some 33's with some aftermarket wheels and spacers down the road. But for now WIll be running stock wheels (20s) and changing to goodyear duratrack 275/65-20s eventually.

I have run the Rough Country 2.5/1.75 Level in my 2013 about a year and about 10k miles...no issues what so ever. Personally, I would install the spacers, and just keep an eye out. If you have to do the control arms down the road, so be it. But solve that problem IF it comes.

The more I look into it. It seems that the benefits of replacing and going with the Rancho quick lift shocks and struts all around for less than 600 would be a great option. Level the truck and get all new better than OEM ride quality. Or could always just do the Ranchos in the front and still level the truck and remain OEM in the rear. Bilsteins while saving a little cash retain the OEM springs etc. which means more work to install. I absolutely hate compressing springs etc. If I can throw something on and not have to install springs I will.

you're call man, you are stuck between a bunch of good options. Just depends if you want to spend more and have to deal with selling what you have...

That's just it way too many good options. cheapest bet is to keep what i have and just get the mevotech upper control arms and put the spacers in. i don't offroad and I dont load the bed. Just dont want any issues. Replacing the shocks and struts wont void the warranty, but are more expensive. Guess the ranchos are the most expensive way and the bilsteins which are all backordered are the midrange and my way almost seems like the ghetto way. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time and want something that will last.

if your second guessing yourself its probably because you want the new strut assemblies. FYI, rancho is running a rebate through the end of the month. makes them almost the same price as bilsteins.

Does anyone happen to know the part number for the ranchos? I had napa look them up and the only n ones they could find was for a 4" suspension lift...I have a zone 6" lift. I'd like to get that extra 2" of lift!and who makes spacer and or longer springs for the rear?

Thanks,
Kelley

I just put on Ranchos over Memorial Day weekend. I couldn't be happier with them. Super easy install, ride is the same as stock, and you can adjust the dampening of the shocks.

Part numbers are:
RS999944 Left
RS999930 Right

Only downfall for the Ranchos are they only give about 2" of lift. That's exactly what I was looking for so it was fine for me but the Bilsteins and spacers offer more height.
