It's just bacause I don't have a tuner installed.
So I keep it in 6th to prevent the MDS from kicking on at 60...

I've got to say I understand people complaint about the drone. No tuner I had to run in 6th because the noise was going to run me out of the cab....

Do you recommend the 18" for my 14 r/t?

I also have the 14" magnaflow, wait till the break-in period and it'll be a lil louder and deeper(1000 km's for mine). ------------------------------- Of all the MUFFLER DELETES I've heard on these truck's , especially accelerating off the line , to me they sound raspy and gurgly up until higher rpm's and that's why I decided the lil quieter but clean and smooth sound of the 14" Magnaflow.

That's why I didn't go with the delete as I didn't really care for the raspy sound...some kind of "muffler" to keep the tone deeper is what I prefer...thus far love the hell out of it...two tanks of gas through it and still enjoying it at all speeds lol

OH btw....if you were thinking of getting these..DON'T...your MPG will suffer hahaha:favorites37::Hump:

Nope I recommend the delete and leave your reso's on if you don't want it "that" loud. Reso delete when you do. Or go with the 14 and get a electric cut out.

I got a cutout and it's going on next Friday.

Well, my delete came today. I swear it must have been built last on a friday. Fitment is horrible... I spent about 2 hours trying to get everything to line up but I couldn't get it even close. The driver side tip was at least an inch lower than the passenger tip no matter how many times I adjusted and re tightened it. So I put my stock back on, don't know what I'm going to do with the delete now... I'm considering trading bumpers with someone, then I can just do a single exit and not have to worry about looks...

I had the same issue, but it was because my tailpipes weren't in right, have someone help you, it will align straight. May stick out about 1/4-1/2 and inch past the bumper but it will be straight.

I didn't have that issue, but I did have mine welded on.

We had three people. Couldn't even get it close...Pretty much given up. I think I'm going to slap a turn down on it and call it good! The main issue was that we couldn't get the driver side pipe to line up. The hanger was pulling it up causing the tip to go down a bit and despite a ton of effort it wound't stay straight.

I could get a new hanger made for it, but I'd rather not pour more money into it at this point. Honestly, we got it close, enough that for most people it probably would have been ok. But I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it was too far off for me. I'm seriously considering a trade for a chrome single exit bumper and building a tucked exhaust dump, no worries about where the tip sits and I like the clean look. I wasn't set on the duals when I bought my truck anyway. I can easily get the stock bumper, duals, muffler and delete sold as a package.

You'll love the 14 inch, I actually just took mine off thought because I'm just looking for something different. It sounds mean and has a very deep rumble to it. My ex bought it for me for my birthday a few years ago so I can't be too mad about it haha.
