Organize HDD

Is there a simple way to organize music files on these radios. I have about 800 plus songs on my HDD but for the life of me I can't find the one I want I can scroll through and that just takes time so I don't know how to organize. Do I have to save or store the song in a certain file format or named it a certain way? Please help

I'm interested in hearing what others are doing as well.

I downloaded a few programs to properly tag my mp3 files with the correct song name, artist etc. I then moved the files to an sd card an when I tell it to play an artist, it generally works well.
