Yep, I definitely like that look! Very nice man! :favorites13:

IMHO, the grill looks out of place with those wheels now... I would do this grill. Just my .02.

DavidRam, where did you find the pic of the red Ram? Tried a reverse Google Image search but turned up nothing.

Where did you find those grilles?! I was thinking the same thing with my grille. Need a black one.

Sorry for the late reply... I don't remember exactly where I found that picture and grille, but I have seen those grilles many times on ebay under 2012,3,4 Ram grill black, etc..

I live around a lot of dirt roads and was told that the plastidip doesn't hold up well to the dirt roads very long and it doesn't have much of a shine I guess? I've never seen them in person up close.

Glad they ride smooth and that you're not asking for opinions on how they look.

Dirts not going to hurt it, and the shine depends on the application. Plasti dip is really extensive but you mostly see smaller stuff done like rims or grills or badges ( I have all the above done on my truck) which is just done by spray can. You can add glossifier to it for a glossy finish and they sell a product to protect the dip and keep its gloss that you use when you wash your truck.

As I said I have a lot of orange and black spray can stuff done on my truck in just the flat cause I like that look, even interior stuff. Im going to take the plunge in the spring with a serious plasti dip project on my 66 buick, doing the whole car with their spray gun kit in a color shifting chameleon style that mostly hits reds and golds.

Edit: Also good preparation and execution is very important with it. Doing the rims while on the car (made that mistake once) or not cleaning them enough or poor application will all lead to a short life for it. Smaller things I feel ok doing, but even my rims the second time around and obviously my car in the spring, Im having a friend of mine who is a painter do.

Ohh okay. The Buick sounds like it'll be gorgeous afterward. There's a plastidip retailer a city over. I'll have to swing in on Friday when I pass through. Thanks for the info.
