Outside temp gauge

My outside temp gauge isn't reading correctly, and it seem my a/c isn't getting as cold as it once was. Are these 2 connect some how? ( 2017 )

No, ambient temp sensor is (should) be separate. Your A/C is dependent on refrigerant level and heat transfer from fan action across the condenser coils. I'm not familiar with the 4th gen up front, does it have a separate fan just for the A/C condenser?
