Overhead console clips

Does anyone happen to know the part number for the gold clips that hold the overhead console in? Either I bent the clips or damaged the plastic posts they attach to. It took a lot of swearing to get the console removed and now I can't get it to sit flush anymore. There is about a quarter inch gap by the map lights.

Happened to me too - I ended up buying a good console that wasn't stretched/clips half broke and replaced mine, the gap was driving me nuts

Apparently it comes off easier if you unclip the black portion first but either way its not something I want to do again

Yeah I don't ever want to pull that out again. Where did you get your replacement console from?

Just looked on Ebay there are tons out there - I made sure the backside looked 100% and clips all intact etc - then I just swapped my existing electronics onto the new console (if you find one thats newer than your truck you likely don't have to do that) - if the one you buy doesn't have Homelink or slider etc that is fine as you can clip the inner black section of yours into the new one - you really are only needing the outer gray trim ring with good clips-

I have the newer one with LED's in the overhead so I had to search a bit but just search 4th gen 13-up overhead consoles
