I highly suggest ceramic coating to protect the paint for your vehicles... Just look at that reflection, you can’t get it any cleaner after a day off-roading.

I’ve run Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the last 2 Jeeps so I figured I would run them here too. This is the first time going with 37s though, in the past I’ve only run 35s. Also went with the Method wheels with a +25 offset to keep the positioning as close to OEM as you can with non-OEM setup.

I did have to trim some of the inner lining in the the wheel well and also removed the plastic coverings on the pinch seam.

Decked system. I love the versatility of this system and all of the opportunity to store my camping gear and lose the boxes I used to use to store gear in the truck. I do caution you though, if the depth of your bed is important to you do NOT do this mod. You lose all depth, it’s essentially just a platform now not a pickup. But it works for me.

Rock rails or steps?

Make no mistake, steps are NOT rock rails.

I made the conscious decision not to do rock rails this time. I don’t plan on rock crawling and the kind of travels I’m looking at doing shouldn’t need them. So I decided to go with steps this time.

I chose the. N-Fab steps because I really liked the 3rd step option.

Needed somewhere to put the tent, decided to use UpTop Overland for my bed rack. They offer an all aluminum product that is light and strong. Also it had all of the built in attachment points for the gear I plan to use. Install was easy, do wish the truck had some rails in the bed so I didn’t have to screw into the truck.

Everyone needs a place to lay their head after a day on the trails.

I’m using a RoofNest Falcon XL

Removed the 40 portion of the 60/40 rear folding seats to make way for my fridge and auxiliary battery setup.

I do tow fairly often with the truck and with all my gear in the back and the tongue weight, I wanted a way to keep the truck level and avoid the front end rising as well. But the most important part was not to impact my articulation capabilities.

I decided to go with SumoSprings and I have to say I’m happy I did. They were easy to install and fit with no drilling. Also the ride hasn’t been impacted and I have zero squat now.

Got the fridge placed. I was going to build a custom platform and then realized I could remove the stock platform from the seat and reattach it using the factory bolts for the chair I had just removed. So glad because it maintains the stock look and allows me to store some stuff under the platform.

Now I just need to get my battery mounted.

Great job on the mods so far, awesome rig! Ceramic coating is definitely in order for mine.

Solid build so far, just watch the Ceramic coating depending on the brand you used it tends to build up and it does scratch leaving damage to ceramic coating and it does haze over time and removing it is a real pain in the ass. Try some of the new hybrid si02's out there you'll be much happier. did you knock those pinch seems over, if not that's a def to do on it. I went with a Thuren adjustable front track bar and they also have front fixed LCA's which get the axle in a better position up front.

Looks great! I'm hoping to start something like this in the near future. I'll probably be pulling an off road camping trailer though.

Nice work on your build.
