I have a check engine light on, yay! Well it's P018C and my reader says fuel pressure sensor B circuit low. I've searched every forum and I can't find location or part number. Just links to links that are dead.

1) My truck is still under warranty.

2) I have scheduled an appointment 2 weeks from now to get it "looked" at.

3) I hate dealing with the dealership over a sensor, hoping to resolve this in my driveway.

I remember reading a post about some wires around the fuel tank being yanked loose after playing with the suspension or lift (can't recall) in a thread on here. Ill try to find it

Thanks.. I have a feeling it's in the engine bay, I was hoping I bumped something while wiring in some lights and running wires under the hood... but the code just popped up maybe 2 weeks after.

But I need to know the location to follow the wires.

It's been awhile since I changed one but I'm pretty sure it's on the driver side under the engine cover. Should be attached to the fuel line going to the fuel rail.

If someone could point out this sensor, that'd be really cool.

Here's some pics of drivers side

As you know the Googs is not helpful with this error. This is why you have a warranty.

As I said, it's on the driver side. You can see it in your picture right next to the brake booster. It has the purple part on the connector.

You don't replace the connector or any of the wires. Just unplug it and disconnect the fuel line. It probably just needs a new sensor. I wouldn't waste my time working on a car that is under warranty though.
