P0303

My truck decided to throw a **** fit at the dirt track last night. Ran good all night and once it got around 89 with who knows what humidity level it starting running ok times with a rider. Well second to last pass truck runs great until the end of the track and I notice a different exhaust note, looked at everything and it seemed ok and ran the same time as previous and thought nothing of it and ran it again. After airing up the tires and starting to leave with everyone I finialy get a check light, scan it with my SCT and see P0303 (detected misfire cylinder 3). Gonna check it coming up, were hoping either a cracked plug or bad coil. It has a wicked idle now though lol but when ya romp it she still runs the same.

Swapped coils and it stayed on that cylinder so next hopeful thing is the plugs. Were gonna pick it up with the roll back prob and do a compession and leakdown test also if needed. Its time to put the ole girl down if its serious.

Haha im not gonna get rid of it just is annoying me at the moment. Pulled the plugs and double checked the coil and wire, all are ok. Were down to a push rod as the next thing on the list but its getting a comp check whenever I can get the tool from my bro.

72K on it maybe 7k since the cam and springs and pushrods went it.

Mine just did this. Down to 75psi compression. Piston is el ******. Wanna just send this junker to scrap.

Haha nope thread from awhile back. Ended up cranked ringland. Sad my truck has eaten 3 pistons and 2 rods lol. Oh well the newer setup is running good.
