I have an 08 Hemi 1500 that has been throwing code P0344 (Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent Bank 1 or Single Sensor) more frequently with the colder weather approaching in New York. I've replaced the camshaft position sensor, inspected wiring harness for any circuit issues, measured voltage from connector (5 volts), and inspected the ECU connectors. The code is usually thrown twice a day at a stoplight when the RPM is around 500. When the check engine light is on for the code, the truck will not shift out of 3rd gear when driving. I must pull over and clear the code with my OBD reader in order temporarily solve the issue. Could this be VVT solenoid related? Should I replace crankshaft position sensor too? Any help is appreciated.

P0344 is caused by an intermittent fault. If you replaced the sensor, I'd check the wiring again for damage and work your way to the TIPM.
