Paint Problems

Last week I noticed some paint failing on my left front fender. Today I went to the dealer to get the ball rolling on having it fixed. The service manager tried to tell me that is from bird crap or egg. I told him my truck is always kept clean and has never been egged. He took some pictures to send Chrysler and said he will get back to me in a few days. The spot is smooth. It looks rough, but there is no difference the texture then the rest of the paint. Anybody else have this issue?

Looks like the clearcoat is cracking. If that's the case, it'll have to be wet sanded off and shot again with clear

If it is the clear coat, won't it feel rough to the touch and not smooth?
-Im not doubting you, cause I really don't know any better, just trying to continue the discussion. Thanks for your reply.

Myself and others have had problems with the metal flake on 11's creating bright spots. Not just on the rams either. However I have not seen anything like that yet. GL

yes I did. Took a month for the OK to get it done. Then took a few days for them to do the work at the dealer. I had the entire roof stripped and repainted.

My hood has a spot like that smaller but the same
