I normally just lay a basecoat, then a few more never though about hitting it with primer...........well now I have a weekend project.Pull the Plasticrap, a light blast, an etching primer, and paint away

You got a pretty good point. I think i found a primed front bumper for a few hundred and going to have my shop guy paint it. He just painted the whole driver side and did a real nice job. If i couldve afforded it at the time i wouldve got the model that i wanted with the bumpers and the dual exhaust and all that. Thanks for the input bra.Nope ... It’s a cheap $5 rattle can of crap that you can peel off ... I’m sure it has a few useful purposes ... But I’d never use it ... You got a nice truck ? Then save your money and do it right ... You got a POS ? Then plasticrap it and be happy ... It’s your truck, and your wallet ... Just my opinion
