Painting....

Got a bit of a project I want to get started on here in the next week or so and part of that has to do with painting up some of the interior, so What all can be removed or popped out for paint? I know parts of the dash and parts of the door can be, I have seen the contros on the streering wheel done but not sure how those are attached.... Just looking at ideas for right now :********:

Well if you had a 2011 i could give you a lot of info lol not sure bout a 2005 i did all my interior brilliant black pearl same as truck

Dome light surrounding, the surrounding of the two lights and the computer above the dash, the dash pieces and door trim, hooks if you have them for clothing.

Can also do the plastic parts of the seat where the controls are.

Feelin around the steering wheel it looks like around the controls is under the air bag. Seems to me the wheel would have to come off to do them.

Pieces. The only thing with my interior painted is my bezel where the head unit is. Everything else is MRK.

They match spot on. And yes, I had the nav bezel painted after I got the MRK items.

On my steering wheel around my controls they just pop right off

now if i knew how to get that ram head off no more silver in side my cab

Yeah except he hasnt been around since march....

Dan, those look like great pieces..... but they are not in the color I want. Only way to get the color I want is to paint them either myself or get someone else to do it

No couldnt get the paint I need for it this weekend, will start pretty soon though I hope

Painting pieces will look good. Changes the look of the interior.

Make sure you use adhesion promoter or it will bubble believe me i painted mine without it i figured brand new what could happen ya bubble bubble bubble sanded it all down used promoter looks perfect.
