I’m sure this has been discussed a hundred times, but I can’t seem to find the answer. My 2016 was originally equipped with rear park assist. The previous owner added an off-road style rear bumper without sensor holes. In order to stop the dash and sound notifications he just removed the fuse which disabled power to the back up camera. Can someone please tell me what settings I need to turn off with alpha obd to clear the warnings and still be able to use the camera?
TIA

My 2016 Ram back up camera is mounted in the tailgate handle

The camera still works when i push the Rear back up sensor button to shut it off

Have you looked at the wiring behind your license plate

The camera wire(s) & Electric Tailgate Lock/unLock wires come out of the bottom of the tailgate.

At that point, it should join up with the Back Up Assist wires & the Wiring for the all the Lights for the License Plate & Tail Lights

The camera works with the fuse in place. The bumper doesn’t have sensor holes. I want to program park sense out of the truck. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.
