PCV torn o-ring

so today I just changed my PCV valve for peace of mind since I just added a catch can to my engine.

When I removed my old one I was surprised how torn and flattened my o-ring was. I had never removed it since the truck was new until now.

Could this have caused any issues besides oil leaking past if it was left alone?

Oops someone forgot the lube and just jammed it in lol

PCVs can cause all sorts of issues, good catch
