Mine is set to arrive tomorrow, but I have a business trip to make. Probably won't get to install it until next week sadly.

Parallel inquiry on the Cummins forum. Couple people claim to have them and like them.

Funny, pages and pages saluting the B&D and now one good comment about the Pedal Commander and the B&D is getting slammed. What I don't like is it doesn't have a switch to select the mode, it is controlled on the unit which makes for awkward mounting.

WOAH is all that I can say about this. I've tried a couple of variations just to find my " spot ", and it has met them all. Now I do have to say that Sport + is NOT in my opinion for the streets. Too many variables are involved which would cause you to lose it. Eco, well that speaks for itself lol. City, I very rarely go to the city so it's there if I need it. Again I can not praise this enough.

The throttle on my 2016 seems to be too sensitive, hard to modulate smoothly. Will this expensive gizzmo slow things down?

I would say yes. The "Eco" mode is negative of factory sensitivity.

If factory = 0, then Eco would be up to -8. and positive modes would be +28 or something.

I tried Eco for a bit. It makes the truck feel very weak. If you ~25% throttle, its like just off idle. Flooring it when in ECO nets a very weak acceleration.

So I was researching Pedal commander. Went to their site, looked up my Ram. I get to the drop-down box and my year is not offered. So disappointed

Installed one yesterday in my 07 5.7 1500 (CAI & Bully Dog gas GT tuner). Very neat little gadget to play around with! It seems to really wake the truck up in the higher sensitivity levels. Sport+ is crazy responsive and hard to control under stop/go traffic conditions. MDS seems to kick off a little more quickly when you stomp on it too.

Eco is like stepping on a sponge and a Prius can beat you off the line. You can set the levels (36 of them total) anywhere in between or turn it off and go with stock responsiveness.

It doesn't make your truck any more powerful, it just adjusts the availability of the power it already has if that makes sense...

Does this do more than when you push down on the throttle? Like if I am taking off from a stop at 1/4 throttle, will this do anything to the throttle management when it pulls the throttle when it shifts to give me a quicker shift?

More "instant" acceleration. Not more hp or tq. just faster response time when you accelerate.
