Anyone have one for their Ram? I was curious if you like it. I have one for my raptor but I have mix feelings about it.

I have one for our 2020 1500 Limited. I like it but if I were shopping for a throttle controller I'd go with the Banks Pedal Monster instead. I have one on our 2014 F150. It just feels less "notchy" to me. Similar price but it doesn't rely on the accelerator pedal circuit for power, which it was never designed to do, because it's powered by the OBDII port instead. If it fails the accelerator pedal resorts back to stock settings with the Banks unit, and you can continue driving. But if the Pedal Commander fails you lose your accelerator pedal functionality. The only way to continue your drive is to pull over and remove it. There are other reasons I like it better but that's the main one. Not to mention it's made in the USA and not China like most of the other pedal controllers out there, including the Pedal Commander.

Would you recommend the splitter along with the Banks or Pedal Commander for a Diesel too? Or is their other options for diesel upgrades? I am a little foreign to this, so want to get a better idea on what to do. ThanksYeah, that's the one. But I didn't buy from Amazon. I bought direct from Banks. Same price. I also added the OBDII splitter so I could access the OBDII port and not have to unplug the Banks unit...

I don't have any experience using a throttle controller on a diesel but I would imagine it's the same as for gasoline engines. The Pedal commander only plugs into the accelerator pedal. You would only need the splitter with the Banks since it's powered by the OBD port and needs to stay plugged into that port.Would you recommend the splitter along with the Banks or Pedal Commander for a Diesel too? Gotcha. Makes sense. Did you notice a difference right away?I don't have any experience using a throttle controller on a diesel but I would imagine it's the same as for gasoline engines. Thanks! This helps me with deciding bc it would be for my 2015 GMC 2500. I recently had a ton of engine work done and my NoX sensors and filters were all bad. As soon as they fixed all that my torque I got was like was in a different truck. It was so sluggish getting off the line that is was embarrassing. So you think by adding the pedal commander and OBD splitter will help even more?I recently installed a Banks Pedal Monster in friends Chevrolet pickup, and it was like night and day difference in the pedal response. I never realized how much lag was in the GM trucks. He did purchase the OBDII splitter has well.
You can up the throttle response even after you're tuned Brian, what tuner are you using.Couldn't you combine a tuner plus a pedal response software package? Doesn't HP Tuners allow you to do both? @Wild one ?
I made the mistake of tuning before I knew the throttle response could be improved, and put in a tune with no option for it. I didn't want to do it all over again. i.e. - once tuned, I don't think you can add another package like Banks?

As Nick states you can usually combine the 2,but i've never done it,as i've always just adjusted pedal response via tuner.I'm to cheap to buy something like a Pedal Monster or Pedal Commander that doesn't add any power![]()
I have one on my 2017 Ram 1500. I stay in the sportiest mode and get top out much quicker due to zero lag.Anyone have one for their Ram? I was curious if you like it. I have one for my raptor but I have mix feelings about it.

Sorry for the delay in responding...Yes, you definitely notice it right away.Gotcha. Makes sense. Did you notice a difference right away?
No problem. Haven’t ordered it yet but I most likely will. I let you know if I notice a differenceSorry for the delay in responding...Yes, you definitely notice it right away.
Oh you'll feel it. How much you'll feel it depends on the factory throttle response the vehicle has, but IMHO it's the best seat of the pants increase mod you can do.No problem. Haven’t ordered it yet but I most likely will. I let you know if I notice a difference
