Pentastar Eco mode

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 with the 3.6 Pentastar. While cruising on the interstate the 'Eco' indicator comes on the evic, but what is it actually doing? Shutting off two cylinders?

No, there is no cylinder deactivation on the 3.6 pentastar. the ECO indication, simply comes on when you are cruising above a certain MPG rate, I thing anything above 20? MPG will give you a ECO indication.

Just means you are driving "ECOnomical" for a given speed and gear range. As already mentioned, does not mean cylinder deactivation with the 3.6.

You can turn it off in one of the radio menu settings.
