Hey guys..I just joined the forum a few days ago...just picked up a 2011 Laramie with the 5.7 Hemi..Actually I haven't even taken delivery of it yet, they have to put running boards on first...but reguardless the thing is I traded in my Ford Lariat and the lariat had a edge / gryphon tuner that reprograms the ECM and could reset things like injector on time, spark curve, trans shifting points etc..it also read trouble codes, monitored voltage,RPM fuel economy and even could tell you your 0-60 time .It made the truck haul butt or you could program it for fuel economy......does Dodge make anything similar ? ?

Dodge doesn't but you should look into a SuperChips tuner or Diablo Sport tuner...

I have the diablo sport InTune with custom tuning, I really like it. Custom tune is a must.

I'll have to do some research on those..... while I'm waiting to get the dodge I took the programmer out of the ford to resell...I drove it today stock....I forgot just what a dog the truck could be stock... so no matter what the make a tuner is almost a must have

Custom tune would be the best... but costs the most... there's a few options depending on what you want to spend...

If you traded in a EcoBoost don't expect the same kinds of gains out of a Hemi when programmed. A turbo motor has a lot more room to gain than a n/a motor. If you want something that will match what you had the diablosport trinity does pretty much all of the same things including the 0-60 times.

Staying fairly stock I would actually get a Bullydog, they've got the most aggressive canned tunes. If you want to get a custom tune (which will always net you better gains) then you have Diablo or Diablo right now. If you want to play with the tune yourself then HPTuners is available but not recommended for the average guy.
