Phone complaint

I just bought a 2012 Outdoorsman (Mossy Oak). I have my phone paired to it. The problem is when someone calls me and I push the phone button on the steering wheel OR the button on the nav screen it still takes 15 secs for the lady to give me directions on how to answer the phone before it will connect me. My old truck (Chevy, don't hate) would cut off the message when I pushed the button and connect me immediately.

Is this normal?

Just push the button on the left side of the radio, should connect right away. I don't usually push the button on the touch screen.

ok, I tried the button on the left side of the radio and it does the same thing. I press the button and my phone rings 2-3 more times before I'm actually connected to the call.

Have you tried other phones to see if they have the same problem?

Go there and see if you're eligible for a software update. If not, it may be time for a visit to the dealer.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not eligible for an update. Looks like I need to stop by the dealer.
