Being able to stand in the pickup bed is REALLY nice. That is why I went with loan peak, when the bed is down there is still two foot or so behind it one can stand in the pickup bed. also the bed is on hydrolic rams, so it lifts up to the tent top if you just want to be doing something in the pickup bed. Only used it for two week vacation once, still got a way to go before I get where I know what I want. Wife LOVES the julco gotta go potty, one doesn't even have to get out of the pickup bed and flounder around in the dark with the bearsMy daily/hauler/ overlanding camper. I built it myself pretty cheap/ easy looks like a normal truck on the road. Room to stand-up and a queen sized bed. Heated for cold weather camping.

the osb, and the 2x6's I have handled plenty of but.. is that shingles in the third pic? doesn't look quite right.
