I changed mine, but be prepared to use a 3/4 inch Breaker bar and chain Vise-grips to get the ***** off.
Don't get the Dealer Seal. Go to like NAPA or somewhere and get a Double Lip seal, and make sure to put a tad of RTV where the splines are on the pinion before you torque on the new nut and diff u-joint holder assy (just my 2 cents).

So next question, since alot of the parts are order only, how long do you guys think I can get away with it leaking? I will be adding some fluid this weekend to see how much it has actually lost since I just noticed it saturday

You can add a bottle of this stuff!

New Tech International

it worked for me to seal up my leaking axle seals until winter ended one year, so if your pinion is leaking it may work. I also used this stuff to wipe on my crankseal when I did the cam, IMO its good to have some in the tool Box.

Sorry! Depends on how bad its leaking. After I do alot of Drive the **** outta it mine gets a little bit damp, I just wipe it and its good to go again, but I have a Dodge single Lip one and wasn't aware of the double-lip available ones.

well I would make sure you keep an eye on it and maybe put a little RP in there or lucus to keep things slippery.,
