Planning on lowering***Advice needed***

Hey all it has been a while since my last post but the black beauty is serving well and is ready for some more mods. I am planning on changing tires soon and will go with a 275/55 which is an inch shorter on a 20" rim. I was already planning on dropping the rear 2" to level it out but now with the shorter tire.....:disgust:

Soooo...I'm thinking the McG Econo 2/4 kit will give me what I'm looking for. The rear is super simple to lower. The front I am apprehensive about and I don't see a DIY. I have read posts that the instructions are horrible. Any advice or insight on dropping the front 2".

It's so easy. I did the McG 2/4 Eco kit on my 2012 cc and did it all in 6 hours with breaks
The front you remove the shock, remove the tie rod from the spindle, take out the sway bar link, with a jack under the lower control arm take off the upper ball joint nut and bust it loose, lower the jack slowly and take the tension off the spring, pull out and reverse for install.

If you can find a shop to install a 2/4 kit (or even just the front shocks) for $265 I'd go that route LOL The rears are laughably easy.
Looking forward to seeing your results.

It's an easy job. I took the front coils out of my '99 Ram 2-3 times in one day (doing the ol cut and pray method) It's not bad at all! (Front suspension design is virtually identical)

It certainly will be a fun thing as a father son deal.
