I am thinking about once it warms up a little about plasti-dipping over the top of my wheel wells and down the rocker panels. cheap way to break up the "white out" of my truck and completely reversible. Just a thought i will try out, i figure it will last about like rims do when they get plastidipped. anyone do anything like this?

I painted my chrome grill with Plastidip, going on 10months and it doesn't peel. I take it through the car was once or twice a week.

I feel it will be a cheap way to test the waters of rhino or hercul-lining them. Thought about doing that but i will try something not permenant first! I bought some plasti-dip the other day and like it. Only thing i dipped was my sons baseball helmet and it turned out sweet! so we will see how it goes once it warms up!

sounds like a good plan, like you said it can be removed - so no harm done

Here is my grill, this was just to test it. It's grown on me, although I think the chrome ring and black center section is a little weird.
