i did on my 4th gen with no issues. Clean it well before you start and Just mask off where you don't want PD to go. Use enough to get a nice even thick coat.

Cool thanks guys. I'm trying to get rid of the chrome. I've looked for a black billet grille with no luck. I've found lay over grilled but that's not what i want. I'm gonna try to dip mine.

You could also get your original grille powder coated, might be a bit more costly though. Mine was done that way and I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out, but I had never heard of plasti dipp when I first did my grille, otherwise I probably would have done that instead.

I got my dip from Lowe's or home depot

I'll look at lowes. They didn't have the spray kind at home depot. May have to order it

My grille is an aftermarket one, not the original stocker. It was chrome when I got it and then had it powder coated black.
