So, I was perfect through 3 coats. On the 4th, for whatever reason, the can started spraying poorly. A 6" long section got screwed up. Here's where I need help. How do I fix it? Peel off the messed up part and spray a few more coats in just that spot? I certainly am not going to peel the whole grille and start completely over. Thanks guys.

Oops. One of those pics was before I dipped the 'HEMI 5.7 LITER' badge.

personally i don't like it. You took a painted to match grill and made the truck look like a base model work truck. Sorry i'm not being rude, just my opion since you asked.

on the flip side......if you like it, what i think doesn't fukken matter.

I'm not totally in love with it either. I may take it off eventually. Was fun to do though! I think the black and grey thing would work a lot better if my headlights were dark in the back of the housing like yours.

That is the beauty of Plasti dip. Try it and if you don't like it just peel off

I like it. Some black rims and beefy tires. blacked out headlights and tail lights..Would push it over the edge of being sick.
I love gray. My old truck was gray and It was blacked out and I sorta wish I had went that route with the new one.

I agree -- plasti-dip your wheels or get some black wheels, blacked out headlights & tails and it'll look slick :naughty:

Thanks for the input mattman_13 and Peti817. I tend to agree with you guys. I'm in the process of finding out what it's gonna cost me to have the headlights and fogs darkened. With those darker, i think the grille wouldnt be such a huge contrast. I could also dip my rims easily.

Personally, I would have left the grill gray. But I love the black badges. I'd black out the wheels too.
