Has anyone used the plastic dip gloss/clear on the front of there trucks for protection?
Just really wondering if it comes off easy like the rest of the plastic dip products. ?

I've thought about that myself but haven't done it. Honestly I think just having a clear bra installed would be much better.

Plastidip doesn't exactly come off "easy". I like using it but I've painted the horizontal chrome parts on my Sport grille twice now and it is chipping again. Like all painting prep work matters but when it comes to re-doing it, it is a pain in the @$$ because it doesn't actually just peel off easy. Most of it will, but there will be residue and tough spots. I have heard that WD-40 helps...

I’ve had my grille done for almost 18 months and it looks great. I put 10 regular coats on and 6 gloss coats on. Have not had to peel it off, but I bet it would come off alright. Been through a rough Idaho winter and a nasty Texass summer. Holding up well.

Had a motorcycle that was done and it peeled off faily easy and the small areas that did not wd40 did take it off pretty good. I wiped the hole bike down with wd40 then washed, maybe I got lucky I dont know it was my first time with it.
I was mainly thinking of just doing the front "bumper" on my Express, just for the winter.

Agree and disagree.

Dip will come off extremely easy I'd say 99% of cases, even if all processes done correctly. The more intricate or detailed parts, like a honeycomb grill with all the small crevices makes dip a pain to remove. But yes, the dip and glossifier will come off just as easy as using dip only.

Usually comes off easy, provided you use enough coats.
