I have tried everything - tell me what I'm missing. It did this on my 2019 and now it's happening on my 2025. I run Android Auto, but the moment my wife or kids plug in their damn iPhone, this happens nonstop. Does anyone have a way to make this stop??? I have started carrying a charging brick just to have them use that instead of plugging it in.

This is a screenshot of me hitting "no" as well as subsequently hitting the red "X". The message re-appears about every 3 seconds in the actual video.

I've spent probably a combined 2 hours in the uConnect menu following various posts' instructions. Disconnected the iPhones in the uConnect menu, been in the phone's settings to prevent auto-connection, etc. As soon as it's plugged in, it still starts.

If it would just accept my pressing 'no' once and be done I would accept it. But it turns into randomly placed and repeated pop-ups of this same message for as long as the iphone is plugged in. If I could post the video, you could see the chaos.

There are data blockers for both USB A and USB C ports that allow a phone to charge but not communicate through a USB port. They stop phones from communicating through the port, it should stop the phones from talking to the truck's radio via USB.

Why not spend about $2 ($5 in Canadastan) for a cigarette lighter to USB-A adapter? Check at Dollarama.

I use one in the socket in the bottom of the console cubby, below the phone holder, and leave a USB-A to USB-C adapter cable plugged in for my stupid phone.

Dollarama also sells inexpensive adapter cables which I change regularly because they never last long.

They sell different adapter cables for iPhones. Isn't that a USB-A to Lightning adapter cable?

Sure, the expensive cables last a bit longer but not long enough for me to justify the increased cost.

Plus, I don't think it matters too much for a power-only connection.

I don't want my phone connecting, other than the Bluetooth.

I would venture to say there is a setting on the phone which would allow you to control that. My Android phone has a setting which allows for charging only when USB plugged in. I would try to find that setting on the iPhone.

Try looking for a setting in the Bluetooth menu concerning projection manager and turn that off for all phones except for the phone you to use. That’s how it works in my UC4 with the 12 inch screen. It will keep additional phones from trying to take over when plugged in and only allow the additional phones to charge only.

Maybe have them charge using the rear USB sockets? I dont think those would register.

Try using another one of the USB jacks, or get an old fashioned adapter to put into the 12 volt jack.

Go to the phone settings on your Uconnect and you can enable charging only for each device that you don’t want to communicate with the Uconnect.

in your settings, your phone should be first on thee list. If not, make it first. then, there's the option to prioritize it over all others. I forgot what that setting is called...lol....AHH..PROJECTION MANAGER....go there and click car play OK, then right below that, click OK again.

let me know if that worked. and only do YOUR phone

Why not show the dealer it is a 2025 truck, which should be covered, could be the start of something going on in the radio, they bench test it and replace it if the company tells too, why go crazy you paid for a truck not to have this happen.
