so i did the hughes plenum repair this weekend along with a 180 thermostat and now my engine sounds like a wind tunnel. it has less power and terrible acceleration. engine sounds like its going fast and rpms are rising but barely acceleration and it seems like the TB is sucking in more air than before. when i did the fix the intake manifold gaskets (slanted gaskets on each side of the plenum base) were pretty gone. the factory plate was pretty thin and the plate gaskets where cracked with a few blown out spots. is that why its sounding better and more of a wind tunnel sound cause there's a better seal overall? i don't want to keep driving it if something is not right and build up some long term damage... thanks
