So every other direction I am looking at when buying wipers it seems like a split of 22 inch or 24 inch, manual states nothing about sizes. Everyone’s thoughts? What do you guys run. Currently have 24’s seems like they don’t rub anything, pretty close to windshield cowl though.

Which model tradesman trim? 1500 or 2500?

Checking site: for 1500 2022 Tradesman, depending upon brand/features shows either 22 " or 24" for your truck.

Added: For my 5th Gen, only shows 24", just a FYI.

I recently purchased a set of Bosch Icons for my 2014 Laramie.
The Bosch website shows 22A for driver's side and 22B for passenger side, adding that 22A can be used on both sides.

They can be searched as Bosch Icon 22A22B.
I purchased through Amazon. They fit.

I run 24 in rainex silicone. A bit pricey, but this is my 3rd year with them and the still work and look like new. Actually, the oem wipers that came on my 16 big horn were just as good.

These are what I run as well. Well worth the money and they last a long time. Plus they add RainX to the 'shield with every swipe so that's an added bonus. I always make sure to run the rag over them ever time I wash the truck as well, that seems to help them last.

I was always a trico force guy, but after having a snowy cold snap that somehow broke the new wipers on my Tahoe I am replacing all with rain X which I used to use. I am a fan of the beam style. Less bulky and better connection from arm to wiper on the rain x I noticed. Never had a vehicle where every other place went back and forth on size

2018 ram 1500 5.7L per rock auto states a 22 inch wiper. 2022 ram 1500 classic (same truck) on rock auto states 24 inch. I think I will go back to the 22, 24 seems a little big and sloppier honestly. Thanks for the thoughts and info as always!

Ok than wat I posted in previous post accurate
Seems like there is a lot of confusing cross over from the new gen to the 4th gen, if a place scans my registration for a alignment specs the classic comes up as a 5th gen. I pretty much look up a 2018 ram to get the most accurate results possible. Back to Wally World for some 22’s!

That’s the problem, a lot of places take some 5th gen specs and toss it in the classic category for those years, the classic should be the same as the 2018s and older, not mixed with 5th gen

I’ve run these for quite a while without complaint.

Much cheaper than the big brands with similar performance. (I’ve run Bosch icons, RainX latitude etc. on prior vehicles)

Motium Super Silicone 22” wiper blades
I have always been a rain X or trico guy, but my new tricos let me down in a way I wouldn’t have wanted to be on the road lol, so went back to the rain x.

We are in a tradesman, which most application charts list as 22". But I have always replaced with one inch shorter blade then factory O.E. shows. You give up 1/2" top and bottom but gain a bit of tension - don't ya know- per inch. Still have an old Anco Tel-tale tension tester! Cute yet useless tool. They are sometimes available on E-Bay. Most of ya have probably never seen or heard of them.

Never heard of it I must say, I went with 22’s and seem to clean the windshield better than the floppier 24s

Just fer giggles I might downsize to 22s and see how they do. I got Oem size either Michelin or Rain X on now and they r ok. Always learn diff POV on forum.

So far I think I’m sticking with the 22’s, only flaw is lost a little bit of cleaning area on the passenger upper right side of windshield, which does not effect me. No need to clean so high up on the windshield where I can’t see anyways! I like them.
