I recently purchased a power tailgate lock from Pop & Lock. The instructions included are somewhat difficult to understand. I'm in way over my head, but I would like to install this myself. I would rather avoid paying somebody else to do it - and I don't even know where I could go. Anybody have any tips or a how to? Can't find one anywhere for the Ram.

Go to a truck accessory shop that sells toppers and stuff like that they can hook you up.

Yeah I've contacted a couple, and they all want like $150 just to install... any other advice?

I c ant figure out how to install. I don't get how to get to the wires I need. The instructions say to take off the kick pannel. I did, and can't get to the wires. I either need to figure out how to install, or a video specifixally for this gen ram, or an installer that doesn't charge a ridiculous price to install.

so i decided to save myself some money and do it myself. i have everything wired, but either something is deffective or i miswired something. the lock only works one way. at first, it would only lock. ive tried pressing the keyfob once and twice, and using the switch on the door. i also tried reversing the wires but then it would lock on the unlock button. obviously its getting power. i wired in to the light green wire and the tan wire with 2 green stripes in the front driver kick panel. any ideas?
