I have read in several places that these do nothing on a mildly modified truck except here.
Most of the responses I have read here people are installing a CAI and the ported throttle body at the same time so who knows which is making the difference.
Anyone have some dyno proof or time slips that show these help??

Matt at Moes performance has said several times that a PTB isn't needed if all you are doing is adding a cai and muffler. If the man selling these parts says you don't need it.....you probably don't need it

Without headers, we typically only see an 8-10hp gain. This will show on a dyno and be worth just under a tenth at the track, but isn't something you will feel much for everyday driving. With headers and tuning, the gains from a tb are closer to about 12-15hp and right at .1 in the 1/4. Last customer that we tested this with went from a 13.17 to a 13.06 in the 1/4. He has full boltons including long tubes and custom tune.
