Help with a power drain. I love my truck and enjoy driving it and keeping it in show condition. It is Almost 100% garaged in a climate controled environment. It has failed to start over a dozen times and 7 of these events have been documented with the dealer and each time they believed and I believed it was fixed. Well the last time they documented an abnormally high drain but could not find the cause. Has anyone experienced this and found a simple fix. The truck has only 17k. It's a 19 limited with every option which might be the problem, much to go wrong. My understanding is that dealership troubleshooting solutions are not shared. So maybe there is something simple the collective can provide. So far ramcare and the dealer have failed.
Thanks

That's one of the toughest things to diag. Because, in your case, there isn't something constantly staying alive. You need a dealership that is willing to take up a bay, for maybe days, to let your truck sit with diagnostic equipment connected to find the power drain. You need to be able to give up your truck for a significant amount of time, too.

The way I used to solve this on older cars was to start pulling fuses, one at a time. Its dead? OK, recharge battery, put that fuse back in, pull a different one that may be a likely suspect. Repeat until the drain stopped, and then you had probably just identified the guilty circuit. Now-a-days, there are too many fuses, and many components don't always react well to having their fuses pulled.

Any aftermarket stuff added at all, or work done to it? Stereo work? Did it start happening right after a recall?

I have this to add, your truck needs to be driven more often is your charging system working properly, there are so many parasitic draws on this new technology, I would put a Battery tender on it I use a Deltran Battery Tender Plus 1.25 amps for our AGM battery's and also lead acid batteries, AGM is "absorbed glass mat".

I'm with "jasonw" on this, and is how I look for drains as well. If it is huge drain, you will get a fairly good spark as well when you reinsert the fuse. It is a simple way w/o using a VOM. And I totally agree with what "Dodge 1500 4x4" stated about the AGM battery and battery tender.

I wish you look with that frustrating problem.
