Power folding mirrors not OE

Hello all, I’m new so please don’t flame me out if this has already been asked a million times lol!

I found a good deal on some sport painted mirrors for a 1500 but my truck is an express and did not come with the power folding option. Can I put these on my truck, without issues, and just not be able to fold my mirrors in at all until I can upgrade that part too?

Yes you can. I did the same thing on my truck and just couldn’t fold them in until I got the correct door modules and window switch.

As stated you can use them before you get the correct hardware and enable the codes for the power fold option. You can also fold them manually until them if you need too.
