What’s it doing at idle? How does it act when in park and you raise the r’s up?

Seems to have a smooth idle and good in park. Rpms do try to drop around 500 while at a redlight but it dosent really like to cruise around town, it feels like it sputters if i lug it until it downshifts then it is good again. But i can always feel the surging problem when im picking up speed

If it is an engine problem you likely would be surging even when on freeway at speed, I agree it can be tranny or driveline issue. Other common ones vac leak and fuel system pressure issue from fuel pump to clogged fuel filter. Damn engine surges are the worst, could be like 20 different things. Try and document as many symptoms and when it happens and doesn't happen to try and narrow down. If the tranny fluid hasn't been changed, I would do so.

Ok thanks guys ill check the fluid in the morning. It has been to multiple shops and nobody can figure it out. 60psi fuel pressure solid and only code it has had was 02 sensor readings when the cats where clogged but i removed those and added the spacers for the downstream 02 sensors, still throws to 02 codes but i figured that would happen without cats.

A catalytic converter is an exhaust emission control device that converts toxic and harmful gases and pollutants in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine into less-toxic pollutants by catalyzing a redox reaction (an oxidation and a reduction reaction).

Hence why you smell it, the cats were there to burn it off.

Yea bud i know how all that works, the smell was there before i removed the cats. The 02 codes have changed a couple times, it showed downstream 02 problems for clogged cat then an upstream problem after i cleared the code. Seems to jump around so i cant pinpoint that problem yet
