Question..I have a lifted 2005 power wagon. And I'm looking to go with the 5.13 gearing with bigger tires. Obviously, they don't make a 5.13 kit for the PW since the rear axle is a hybrid 10.5 AAM (11.5 shafts inside)...
So my question is this: I found a good deal on an 11.5 AAM DRW from a 5th gen 3500. Will it bolt straight up to the 2500 frame on the PW, or will it be a better choice to find one from another 3rd gen? All the small stuff like updating brake lines and abs can be figured out as I go.
I currently have RockRidge 4WD looking into building me a 5.13 gear kit and waiting on the email.
