PPE Transmission Pan

Like you, I also have the bypass kit, it's sitting on my workbench. My truck is just hitting 70k miles, so tranny service is due anytime.

I like the thought of the extra fluid in the pan. I plan on using this method of refilling the trans, where they keep the truck level, with all wheels off the ground. In that linked vid, they also loosen the tranny mounts.

I'll be using my 4-post lift, and will be raising the rear at least enough to get the rear wheels off the ramp, so I'll be ~halfway up to the 'green sheet' specified height.

So everyone reused the collars from the plastic pan over to the PPE pan holes as well?

So everyone reused the collars from the plastic pan over to the PPE pan holes as well?

From everything I've learned and seen in videos, moving the pan bushings to the new PPE pan is the SOP.
Also, installing them flush on the exterior side allows the gasket to be located and aligned more easily.

A couple of videos have missed this part of the installation. Easier is better in my books.
