Transmission Fluid Change

I watched many You tubers doing transmission fluid change. Some said that you don't have raise the rear of the truck to level off the transmission. Others said you have to. I lifted the rear and replace my transmission pan and filter used a aluminium pan. I followed the green sheet and added 8 quarts of fluid. Did I do this right?

Yes. You're good.

Not raising the rear end will just mean you have a lower level of fluid in the trans which isn't really good for anything.
