programmers/chips

This is first dodge and I have no clue about programmers or chips ,do they work dont they.I put a leveling kit on with some new rims and tires now thinking about duel exhaust or a body lift ,But all I read about is bully dog and Edge programmers and chips.Are they worth the money and can you get them cheap,what is the best out there and at the best price .Help me out:birgits_tiredcoffee

Superchips ... hands down .. best for the Hemi .. dont waste the money on a "chip"
Go with a Superchips ... the members will also chime in on that one ..

I agree superchips for sure unless you wanna get something a little more custom then get a custom hemifever tune

Are they plug and play or does the truck have to be tuned?? My son helped his buddy put some kind of chip in a chevy and it was faster but idled rough and through check engine light

Go with Superchips. They always run a sale where you can save $100 bucks, but I would check out greenfilterUSA.com and get a cold air intake. It really helps mileage and gives a lot more power. A lot cheaper than k&n and makes more power.

Well since everyone is a sc fan I'll through Diablosport sport out there. I love mine. If you ever plan on doing headers cam or any big perf mods you will need a custom tune. You can't do that with sc.

Diablos are nice but I don't think a ton of people would take the time to break the seal on an engine.:superhack:
