Are the factory projector lights hid's. And if they are not and I buy the plug and play harness from jj do I still need to connect the resistor or is the resistor for hid's.

No, the factory projectors are halogen. If your truck came with them all you need is the package he sells with canbus adapters, ballast and hid's.

I have a 2009 with the quad lights I just want it the way it comes from the factory. So does that mean I wont need to connect the resistors because on jj website the wiring harness shows it with a resistor but I heard that is for hid installs

So since you will be adding projectors you'll need the adapter harness for the projectors. The harness has a resistor built in. Just find any bolt or use a self tapping screw and attach it to any metal surface. That takes care of the hyper flash of the led turn signals. Then all you'll need is the package for 13+ rams. Which will include the hid's, ballast and canbus adapters. No other resistors are needed.

I wonder where the resistor is for the trucks that come with the projectors from factory. They should also have one I'm guessing to prevent the hyperflashing.
