Protection Group?

I pulled the trigger and placed my order yesterday for a 2019 Limited. Wondering if I should have ordered the protection group (skid plates) though. It's only $268 (invoice). I'm sure I can call and add it to the order sheet. The question is, should I? Anyone else have this? If you do, thoughts? If you don't, why didn't you get it? Do you want it?

If it'll see some mild off-road action, worth it. If it'll spend it's life on pavement, save the money and buy something else. Just my opinion...

Not planning on much off-road really. A friend suggested it might be worth it for other road hazards though. Things in the road, stuff falling off of trucks, etc.
