Thanks. It wasn't cheap... but not too bad. I could have wrapped the roof with vinyl for $925 but they highly recommended doing it with ppf which is much thicker and will last at least twice as long. It was $1425 to go with ppf. I also paid $370 more for them to ceramic coat the new wrap to protect it. I mostly did that because my truck won't fit under my garage door so it's outside 24/7. They weren't able to wrap the B pillars. They tried and sent me a video showing how it really doesn't adhere well. It looked fine with those being the matte black finish from the factory, but I decided to order replacement OEM Mopar B pillars in piano black to complete the look. Apparently, they only come on Laramie's (I think). I ordered them and installed them myself after I got the truck back. Here's a pic with the new gloss black B pillar covers installed.Looks good. Was it expensive? I’m thinking of doing this as well. Thanks.

Thanks! I'm super happy with how it turned out.Looks great![]()

Nice! Good call on the pillars, that really tied it all together.Thanks. It wasn't cheap... but not too bad. Thanks! Agreed...the new pillars completed the look. They were kind of pricey.... a little over $300 but at least they're Mopar parts.Nice! Good call on the pillars, that really tied it all together.
Do the 5th gens use a plastic B-pillar cover now instead of the vinyl they used to use? I've removed it on both my old 4th gen and my PW since its painted from the factory underneath. I do agree the B-pillars look better matching than the matte finish. Thanks! Agreed...the new pillars completed the look. Yup, they did away with the vinyl wrap over the factory paint like the 4th gens have. Now it's a plastic piece with a matte finish held on with clips. I have a 350Z with glossy black B-pillar panels. They got swirl marks eventually and I was able to lightly polish them out easily. Wax or ceramic coating keep them looking nice as well. Assume the Ram ones should be similar. Those super shiny pillar trims on our trucks scratch VERY easily. Being careful when cleaning is important. I have a few scuffs on mine that I see every time I get in and out. Must get around to trying to polish out, without messing it up more! Lol
Oh, I see you have matt. That might be better than the shiny ones.
I swapped my matte black ones out for some Mopar piano black ones. I read about them scratching easliy.... now I'm going to be super careful washing them! Those super shiny pillar trims on our trucks scratch VERY easily. Being careful when cleaning is important. I read about that when I found the part numbers for these on a Ram TRX forum. Everyone said they scratch super easy. I've debated if I should take it back to the wrap place to have the new piano back ones I just put on wrapped with a clear ppf. Might be worth it.I have a 350Z with glossy black B-pillar panels. Yea i totally agree. Looks good man! Thanks! I actually debated doing the wrap lower at the front. I found a bunch of pics online before I made my decision. Here's one showing it lower. I think what steered me away from it was it wasn't at a natural body line. Where I have it is where the fender and A pillar meet and then I carried that line across the door. I think either way works.

Thanks. There was another odd spot that I talked to my installer about. It's where it wraps around at the bottom toward the rear facing window. I found these pics online and didn't like either one. I had them install about a 1" tall piece of black ppf below the rear window. Turned out perfect!I prefer YOUR way to finish it. Natural body line.

I would 100% put the PPF on those shiny new pillars were it me.I read about that when I found the part numbers for these on a Ram TRX forum. Everyone said they scratch super easy.
