Pulling Pics 2012

I love sled pulling and try to get to them as often as possible. So here's a thread for all to share pics of sled pulls they go to throughout the 2012 season.

Went to Wilmington, Ohio tonight for a good pull. It's cool knowing people that know people, cause we got infield seats and got to walk around and actually check out a bunch of the trucks.

They had 4wd gassers, single engine hot rods, 2.6 diesel, and semis. Only got a few pics with my phone since I forgot my camera.

Takes me back to when I was a kid and tractor pulling was very popular at the county fairs around Michigan.

Mean Ole Allis, Home-Wrecker, Super Trooper, Agent Orange.

Sure was fun to be a kid back then.

Weights... lots of it.

If you look at the trucks (3rd gens) that are pulling without them and how high the front ends are. The weight keeps the front on the ground for the extra traction.

I'm going to the big butler fair for pulls on Saturday
2.6 class starts at 2 and semis and the big rig series start at 7

Last year the entire big rig Pulling series didn't get there till almost 7 since they were at an event an Ohio earlier that day, wonder if it was that one

if anyone in Texas wants to see some good pullin',we have the annual peach&melon festival the first week of august,and on that Wednesday,the pullin starts. it is a national points pull,and we usually have competitors from 20+ states here. starts wednesday 4pm-2am,until saturday night. i have helped build a few of the CTDs in attendance . entry is a little pricey,but well worth it.
