My Ram quad headlights conversion to four HID Bi-Xenon 55w projectors is now complete.
The quads allow for TWO Bi-Xenon projectors per headlight (after a bit of modification to the reflectors).
Most vehicles, only allow one projector per headlight... or come that way from the factory.
So, now I run a total of four 55w projector low beams (at the same time!) and they have an excellent cutoff to not blind oncoming drivers.
When I flip on the high-beams, I have four 55W HID high beams blasting a long way down the road. Very, very bright!
We first tested only one 55w projector in each side, then the two in each side.
Surprised us that two in each side was so much brighter (twice as bright?).
Wiring to get them to operate as described and not throw a "light out" message was tricky and time-consuming.
We were told that this (two projectors per light) has never been done before and it would not work properly. So much for the "expert" opinions.
View of light housing installed for adjusting (no front lense cover)

Low beams. Amazed that the top and bottom bulbs cut off lines were so close
